Tazewell County Republicans and Peoria County Republicans are excited to announce that Angela and Chris Faulkner of the Leadership Institute are returning for another workshop intended for potential candidates and for people interested in helping ensure that all legal votes are counted.

Angela and Chris were here in January to conduct a workshop timed to assist candidates for the April 4 Consolidated Municipal Election.  This seminar will provide more useful tactics and advice and was scheduled before the first election calendar date for the November 5, 2024 Election.  The Illinois State Board of Elections has not distributed the 2024 election calendar yet, but based on the announced primary date of March 19, 2023 we expect September 5, 2023 to be the first date for candidates to circulate nomination petitions.

The Campaign Management Workshop - Peoria teaches you how to manage or contribute to a winning campaign. You will learn to create a campaign, finance, and communications plan. 

Ideal attendees are campaign staff, candidates, volunteers, activists, and anyone interested in impacting public policy.

Attendees will learn how to:

• Develop a campaign strategy
• Determine vote goals and voter targeting
• Create a compelling message
• Fundraise for your campaign

The $25 registration fee includes a light breakfast and lunch.

The Leadership Institute

Founded in 1979 by its president, Morton C. Blackwell, LI provides training in campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications. The Institute teaches conservatives of all ages how to succeed in politics, government, and the media.
