Sheriff Candidate Forum - Morton Tea Party

Morton Tea Party

In Tazewell County, the Republican primary election for county offices is the meaningful race.  Tazewell county is a stronghold for Republicans. Republicans hold 7 of 8 county wide offices and 17 of 21 county board district offices.  Of the 29 current incumbents, 20 of the offices were uncontested in the last general election.

The Morton Tea Party is hosting two candidate forums. The January 11 forum focuses on the Republican Sheriff candidates for the March 20 primary election.

During this forum, the candidates will have an opportunity to make their case why they should be elected.  Time will also be allocated to a question and answer period.
