Issue number 1 - Voters that have moved
- The County Clerk will accept an email from the voter to remove them from the voter list
- Mail sent by the County Clerk that is returned by the Post Office as undeliverable causes them to remove the active status for the voter.
- A note from the general public will cause the County Clerk to send the voter USPS mail verifying that the voter should still have active status.
Issue number 2 - Becoming a Precinct Committeeperson
- Anyone can collect signatures on a nominating petition in advance of primary elections in even numbered years.
- The County Republican Chairman, for example, can appoint an individual to an empty precinct.
